Hateworld was formed in Turin in 2007 by Vincenzo Ianniello and Enrico Cairola, later joined by bassist Alberto Castelli.
After choosing the band’s name, they searched for a vocalist, and after several lineup changes, Tobia Rossetti became the drummer while Mirko Macchia took on vocal duties. That same year, the band recorded their first EP, Another Holocaust.
A period of instability followed, with Tobia and Mirko leaving the band. Enrico returned to the drums, and Sergio Vinci joined as the new vocalist. However, Sergio also left shortly after, and Enrico departed for personal reasons. Determined to keep the band alive, Vincenzo and Alberto recruited Andrea Sannino on drums and brought Sergio Vinci back, while Massimo Ventura joined as a second guitarist. After another departure from Sergio, the band found a new vocalist in Felix Liuni, former member of Brain Dead, and resumed live performances, sharing the stage with bands like Fil di Ferro and In.Si.dia.
In 2016, they recorded their debut full-length album, Mass Deception, at D.L.D Production studios and signed with the independent label Earthquake Terror Noise. Following a series of concerts supporting the album, the band experienced further lineup changes on drums, with Andrea Faccin and Sergio Pavinato alternating before Stefano Pavone joined in 2022.
Between March and October 2024, Hateworld recorded their second album, Return to Earth, marking a new phase in their career.
